Regional Review Meeting – The 5th edition of ‘Ayushman Sangam’ was organized by National Health Authority (NHA) for Western Region on June 30 and July 1, 2022 in Pune, Maharashtra.
The event brought together senior government officials, policy makers and experts involved in the two schemes. Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) from Gujarat, Goa, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu States / UTs.

Beside the program, on July 1, 2022, nearly 1000 doctors were honored for their exemplary contributions made under the PM-JAY scheme.
Dr. R.S. Sharma, CEO NHA, while delivering the keynote address, highlighted the role played by doctors in India’s fight against epidemics and vaccination campaign.

Ayushman Bharat Outstanding Physician Award: Award for honoring the five best performing doctors working in the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY ecosystem. Ayushman Bharat Outstanding Chikitsalaya Honors: Award for one of the best performing hospitals listed under Ayushman Bharat PMJAY in each state.
Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Fellowship: Under this, one year fellowship grant will be given to five healthcare professionals for conducting research under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY. All these awards will be presented during the anniversary celebrations of AB PM-JAY. In September 2022.
