CT Nonprofits Receive Red Sox Recognition for Mental Health Initiatives — Connecticut by the Numbers

The annual “IMPACT” (Inspiring More Philanthropy Through Charities Together) Awards give Red Sox fans in the New England states the opportunity to nominate their favorite local nonprofit for a chance to win. a grant from the Red Sox Foundation. Nominations were submitted earlier this year, and fan voting took place online throughout May.

In 2022, the IMPACT Awards continued to focus on organizations that have demonstrated profound impact in raising awareness and improving mental health outcomes in their community. The three organizations with the most votes in each state will win a grant: $10,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place, and $2,000 for third place.

Connecticut recipients this year are:

· 1st place: Community Health Resources Inc.

· Second place: Services for Jewish Families of Greater Hartford

· 3rd place: abilis inc.
