How to make Cucumber Raita

Material

  • thick curd one cup
  • two green chilies
  • cucumber 1
  • cumin powder half tsp
  • Green coriander leaves two spoons
  • salt to taste

Raita Recipe

  • To make Cucumber Raita, wash and clean it with water.
  • Now peel off the skin of the whole cucumber and cut it from the middle and take out the seeds.
  • Now grate the cucumber, or grind it lightly in a blender.
  • Now put curd in a vessel and whisk it well.
  • Now add salt and grated cucumber to the curd as per taste and mix well.
  • Add finely chopped chillies and roasted cumin powder to it.
  • Now cool the cucumber raita by keeping it in the fridge for about half an hour.
  • Now garnish with green coriander and serve the raita cold.
