Research on this topic was conducted under the leadership of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Research has found that compared to Covid-19, dengue patients have a 55% higher risk of developing heart disease. This study, published in the Journal of Travel Medicine, examined and analyzed the medical data of more than 11,700 dengue patients and more than 12 million Covid-19 patients.
