Don’t eat these things while traveling to hill stations

1. Oily food items

Avoid eating oily food while traveling to hill stations. Because such food items are high in carbohydrates and fats, which create problems for your stomach and cause indigestion. You should avoid food items like aloo tikki, chips, pakoras, fries or fried chicken during your trip to hill station.

While traveling to hill stations, you should also refrain from eating food items related to meat, such as butter chicken, mutton rogan josh or chicken tikka masala etc. This is because meat and fish can take up to 2 days to digest completely. 3. बुफे

4. Dairy products

Consuming dairy products during the journey to the hill station can make you feel ill. Dairy products like paneer, milk, cream, ice cream etc can promote motion sickness. Avoid food items containing dairy, especially when you are traveling by car or bus.

5. Carbonated drinks

Carbonated or soda drinks contain more sugar, which can cause burning sensation in the stomach. Fizzy drinks like cola, soda etc. can cause gas and discomfort in the intestines. Keep in mind that if the journey is long then avoid them. Instead of these drinks, you can keep yourself hydrated by consuming water.

Consuming alcohol while traveling can cause problems like fainting and dizziness and increases the chances of motion sickness. You should avoid the consumption of all types of alcohol including vodka, whisky, beer etc.
