Do you have an iPhone finger? Is it harming your health in any way? – ET HealthWorld

The way we hold our phones sometimes with the phone’s weight resting on your pinky finger. If you picture yourself holding an iPhone, you can see that the pressure causes a noticeable dent, which is why it’s called “iPhone finger.” This discovery sparked a conversation about how this indentation might change how one looks in their pinky. Is this true, though?

How to know if you have an iPhone finger

Just hold out both of your pinkies and compare them to see if you possess this special quality. Should you observe any discernible deviation, particularly a sizable ding on your dominant hand, which is probably the result of using an iPhone, you might have what’s called a “iPhone finger.”Soon after the video by ‘The TJ Show’ was posted, the video on Instagram had over five million views, sparking a frenzy of responses in the comments area. Some people took a playful approach, making jokes about the name’s connection to a specific smartphone manufacturer. One commenter asked, “Why the iPhone finger and not just the phone finger?” “I have a Samsung finger,” a second person jokes. A third said, “I have an android finger.”

Not everyone, though, agreed that the phenomenon was real. A few commenters contended that they had indentations on their pinkies long before they got smartphones. “Will you all please stop? This is untrue. Your ring finger and your pinky fit side by side. It’s not bent,” someone said in a comment.

Should you be worried about your iPhone finger?

In case you’re worried about it, this is nothing to worry about. Those of us who wrote a lot with pens in the past might have an indentation on our middle finger. However, the indentation is no longer there because many of us haven’t written much in years. Therefore, cease laying your phone in that manner if it bothers you. Your finger will return to its usual state.
