DocsApp to merge with MediBuddy – ET HealthWorld

Bengaluru: Medibody announced that its earlier online doctor consultation brand – DocsApp will be closed. A complete merger with MediBuddy will pave the way for a single umbrella entity with end-to-end healthcare services.

MediBuddy aims to facilitate a smooth transition for all DocsApp subscribers and provide them with access to a wide range of high-quality healthcare services and facilities.

The two companies announced a merger in 2020 and have since operated under the parent company, Phasorz Technologies. The merger ensures a hassle-free process for all DocsApp members to transfer their wallet money, existing benefits and preferred data upon logging into the MediBuddy app. In addition, they will have access to additional services provided by the new platform.

Commenting on the transition, Satish Kannan, Co-Founder and CEO, MediBuddy, “The transition is an important step as it provides DocsApp subscribers with additional, accessible and comprehensive healthcare benefits on a single platform and MediBuddy Gold features. We are very pleased to onboard some of our most valued DocsApp customers to the new MediBuddy platform.”
