EastEnders spoilers follow.

Jean Slater continues to struggle with her mental health in EastEnders after a confrontation with his daughter Stacey.

Soap opera bosses have explored mental health with the Slater family many times over the years, and Jean has struggled on several occasions while Stacey was sectioned with postpartum psychosis after Arthur’s birth.

This week, Stacey has noticed that mom Jean is having a manic episode.which led her to restrict Jean from spending time with the children alone.

On tonight’s episode (March 22), Jean told Stacey that she “always knew [Stacey] would amount to nothing,” then even claimed that her daughter had already spoiled her own children.

“That’s where the damage comes from, Stacey. From you, not me,” Jean told her.

Jean has insisted that young Arthur Fowler Jr find out the truth about how his father Kush Kazemi was killed, so she brought him to the train platform where Kush died.

Stacey and Martin were able to find Arthur and Jean just as a train was passing, thus preventing another tragedy.

“You’ve probably scarred him for life and for what?” Stacy demanded.

After receiving more horrific insults, Stacey begged Jean to seek help telling her that she loved her “with all my heart”. Jean promised that she would stay away from Stacey and her “toxicity” from her.
