Emma Raducanu would be helped by full-time fitness coach, says Andy Murray

Andy Murray believes that consistent stability from a fitness trainer is the key for Emma Raducanu if she wants to improve her strength and conditioning.

Raducanu, who is coached by Murray’s former fitness trainer Jez Green, withdrew from next week’s Billie Jean King Cup finals with a wrist injury. He has spent the last three weeks working with Green in an attempt to strengthen his body for the rigors of the tour. The 19-year-old suffered a series of physical problems this year, retiring mid-match on four occasions.
