There is a general belief that drinking water after meals leads to dilution of stomach acids and therefore poor digestion of food. However, that is not absolutely true. In fact, water helps better breakdown, digestion of food. So one can definitely go ahead and take a few sips after meals.

Of course, refrain from drinking a very high amount since that can lead to feeling bloated and that we would not like.
