For so many years we leeds The fans have experienced a constant change of coaches, changes of styles but, in the end, things remain the same.

Simon Grayson rescued us from League One in 2010 and then Marcelo Bielsa changed everything and took us back to the Premier league in 2020.

He gave us an identity, a strong career, confidence, but the lack of renewal of the team and a long list of injuries led to his departure, leaving Jesse Marshall to arrive and scrape past the line, avoiding relegation on the last day of last season.

All the fans wanted and expected a better season this time. Many entered a positive frame of mind.

A quick start, including a domination of Chelsea by Thomas Tuchel, gave serious hope. Sadly, a few games later and we’re back looking at a season that looks even bleaker.

Devoid of breadth, creativity and energy, the team looks like a shadow of the team that swept their London rivals in August, let alone Bielsa’s pomp.

Leeds are now in the bottom three of the Premier League with two points from their last nine.

Importantly, many supporters do not believe Marsch has what it takes to change this, as his team has failed to show consistency or significant resistance to any form of challenge from the opposition.

Football seems chaotic, not only for the fan but perhaps also for the players.

While it would be easy to see the summer signing failures that left the team without a top-level striker, a team that relies on pressure needs to be able to run more than 10 minutes at a time.

It doesn’t seem like we just need a change. We need a new coach, but one who also has a good fitness team in his coaching staff.
