Gentler Streak for Apple Watch now suggests exercises based on your workout routine

Gentler Streak for Apple Watch, an app that wants to bring compassion to your fitness goals, has just been updated to version 2.3. With that, the app brings another exclusive feature called Go Gentler, which plans to encourage a healthier attitude towards exercise and fitness by suggesting workouts based on users’ exercises.

In the past week, 9to5Mac interviewed Gentler Streak founder Katarina Lotrič about watchOS 9 and new features coming to the app. One of them was Go Gentler, already available, as it explained to us what the purpose of the application is with this feature:

It is a totally unique feature because it learns from you. There are five suggestions, and the most appropriate one is listed first, and sometimes it will be resting. You’ll always know the right activity for the day, and you can start the workout on your Apple Watch.

According to the Gentler Streak press release, the Go Gentler feature contains samples of optimal daily actions per person by trying various suggestions. In addition, each training tip is specified by type, duration and intensity.

Training suggestions are aggregated from the user’s training history and adjusted in duration and intensity to place them within their optimal activity levels.

With Go Gentler, it is also possible to interact with the activity route, so that the user can decide how hard, or soft, they want the activity to be.

Gentler Streak offers more than 90 types of exercises, including dog walking, kite surfing, parkour, and more. With an Activity Center on the iPhone app, it displays all logged activities in one place, progress graphs, activity summaries, summaries, insights, and more.

the app is free to download here on the App Store but it requires a subscription to take full advantage of it. The monthly premium is $6.99 and the annual premium is $19.99.
