When American writer and photographer Bill Hayes began researching his latest book a decade ago, little did he know the twists and turns and the parts of the world it would take him to.

Sweat: The History of Exercise charts writer Bill’s course through the gymnasiums of ancient Greece and Rome, to the rare book section of a New York library, and even had him run around naked except for his shoes!
