Healthtech SaaS startup THB raises $20 million – ET HealthWorld


New Delhi:

health tech start up THB On Friday it said it raised $20 million in a growth-stage, equity-based financing round led by Filter Capital and edelweiss Discovery Fund Series-I. Other investors included Cornerstone Venture Partners Fund (CSVP) and Healthquad, according to the statement.

THBwhich stands for big data technology, healthcare and analytics, said it will use the fresh capital to expand its operations globally and accelerate growth in existing markets in South Asia, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Gurgaon-based startup empowers large healthcare companies to drive digital, data and technology adoption with its data management platform and suite of software solutions across 20+ use cases including patient engagement , physician involvement, and real-world evidence.

Founded in 2015, THB serves clients in the healthcare industry including hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic laboratories, primary care, consumer health, payers and medtech companies in 10 countries including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

The company is led by Akansh Khurana, a former executive at Bain & Company, Rohit Kumar, a former analytics professional at American Express, Rajesh Pachar, a former Microsoft executive, Kritika Tandon, former McKinsey consultant, and Dr. Chirag adatiaformer McKinsey partner.

THB employs more than 300 data and software engineers, clinicians, consultants and analysts who deliver clinical insights and measurable outcomes to its enterprise clients.

Investec Capital and Antares Legal acted as advisors in the transaction.
