According to the doctor who performed KK’s autopsy, the singer was on antacid “probably due to some pain he understood digestive problems”, PTI reported. In addition, a senior Kolkata police official revealed that his wife admitted that she had taken too many antacids. “He told his wife during a telephone conversation that he was experiencing pain in his arms and shoulders,” the IPS official said. The doctor who performed the autopsy on Thursday said that KK had multiple heart defects and could have been saved if CPR had been given in time. “He had a major blockage in the left main coronary artery and a small blockage in various other arteries and sub-arteries. Excessive stimulation during the live show stopped the flow of blood which led to cardiac arrest which took his life, ”the medical practitioner told PTI on condition of anonymity. If the artist had undergone cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) immediately after he lost consciousness, he could have been saved, the doctor said. He said the singer had long had cardiac problems that went unnoticed. The singer had 80 per cent blockage in the left main coronary artery and minor obstruction in various other arteries and sub-arteries.
No blockade was 100 percent. “During Tuesday’s performance, the singer walked around and sometimes danced with the crowd which caused a great deal of excitement which stopped the blood flow which led to cardiac arrest,” he said.
The doctor said that excessive stimulation stops the flow of blood for a few moments, resulting in irregular heartbeat for a very short time. “As a result, KK fainted and suffered a heart attack. If CPR had been given immediately, the artist could have been saved, “he said.
The postmortem examination, which lasted about an hour and a half and was videographed, ruled out any bad play and suggested that the singer died of massive cardiac arrest after about three hours of performance.
KK, who is known for his versatility, has sung songs in various languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali. Early hits like ‘Pyaar Ke Pal’ and ‘Yaaron’ made KK popular among the youth of the country.
As a playback singer, he recorded Bollywood songs like ‘Ankho Mein Teri’ (Om Shanti Om), ‘Zara Sa’ (Jannat), ‘Khuda Jaane’ (Bachna Ae Haseeno) and ‘Tadap Tadap’ (Hum Dil De Chuke). Is. Sanam).
