Actress, producer, filmmaker, and superwoman Connie Ferguson opened up about mental health in a recent Instagram post.

“Exercise is good for so many different reasons, but the reason I engage in it, even when I don’t feel like it, is because of its effect on my mental health,” Connie wrote in a gym selfie.

Connie, whose husband Shona died in July 2021He went on to say, “I haven’t taken antidepressants in years, and even in the hardest of times, I managed not to. Wake up, PRAY, exercise, and go about your day.” [sic]”

Shona and Connie quickly became a force to be reckoned with on television and film, and their deaths have been a great loss not only for their family but for the industry as a whole.
