Summer meal planning is all about eating as much fresh produce as possible in a three-month period. After all, it’s the only time of year when the vegetables in the supermarket look almost Just as good as they do at the farmers market. Kosher salt, black pepper and cooking oils are not included in this list as they are considered basic ingredients. Before you rush to the farmer’s market or grocery store, check your pantry, refrigerator, and freezer for items you already have on hand.
