How to make old dirty utensils new? Follow these 4 easy tips


Many people use stainless steel utensils at home. Such utensils have been used in Indian kitchens for years. These utensils are used until they break and become excessively black. These utensils have a long life, so they are used for many years. However, many times it is seen that they start losing their shine and food stains turn them black. There are some stubborn food stains, no matter how much you rub them, they remain. Today we are going to tell you some such tips, using which you can enhance the color of your old utensils and remove stubborn stains from them easily. 

How to bring back the shine of utensils?

1. Boiling Method: Many times the utensils get burnt while cooking, due to which stubborn stains are formed in it. It takes a lot of hard work to get rid of these stains. To clean the burnt utensil, you have to first pour water in it and keep it on the stove to heat it. Boil the water for 10 to 15 minutes. Then turn off the gas. Remove the burnt utensil from the gas and keep it aside for some time. By doing this, the food stuck on the utensil will be loosened and it will come off with light rubbing.

2. Add baking soda and water: Stainless steel utensils are easy to maintain for a long time. Although sometimes they get rough brown stains, which are very difficult to remove. Baking soda can help you in cleaning such utensils. For this, first of all you have to boil some water. Now keeping the utensil in a big tub, baking soda has to be poured over it. After this, pour hot water on the dirty utensil and let it soak for 15-20 minutes. Then rub the utensil well under water. This will make it easier to remove the stain.

3. Use of vinegar: When we boil water in a pan or electric kettle, sometimes white spots start forming in it. You can use vinegar to get rid of these stains. All you have to do is add 1 to 2 spoons of vinegar in the vessel and then add hot water. After doing this cover it and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Then wash the utensil thoroughly.

4. Lemon: Lemon juice can also make old stainless steel look new. First of all, take two tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl and squeeze lemon juice into it. Then rub this paste on the utensils with the help of a sponge and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash off with warm water.
