What you should know about hyperspermia

What is hyperspermia?

Hyperspermia is a condition due to which a person produces a large amount of semen, which is a fluid that contains sperm. When a person ejaculates during orgasm, semen leaves the body through the penis.

This condition is unlike hypospermia, which occurs when a man produces less semen than usual.

Having hyperspermia does not negatively affect a person’s health. However, it can reduce his fertility.

It is a rare situation and is found to be affected by about 4 per cent of the male population in India. The average amount of ejaculation is between 2 and 6 ml. If a man’s semen content exceeds 6.3 ml, he is said to be affected by hyperspermia.(*)

Symptoms of Hyperspermia

The following are the symptoms that should be known:

  • Ejaculation Delay
  • Pain during ejaculation
  • Fatigue or weakness after intercourse
  • Dizziness after sex
  • High Sexual Drive
  • Penis Stretching
  • Yellow sperm discharge

However, many people with this condition do not experience any other symptoms and can never know that they have it.

Signs of Hyperspermia

The main Sign of hyperspermia is the production of semen in excess of normal.

A person who has hyperspermia for his entire life cannot see that his semen content is large. Others may see an increase in their semen content, which may indicate seeing a doctor for diagnosis.

What causes Hyperspermia?

The cause of hyperspermia for a long time is still not known. It is normal for a person to experience temporary hyperspermia, such as

  • Using some drugs
  • Gap between sexual activity
  • Prostate infection
  • Use of pills to promote sexual performance
  • Use of steroids
  • Consumption of highly fibrous and protein rich foods

How does it affect men’s fertility?

Hyperspermia can affect the male’s fertility, but it doesn’t always happen. Some men who have a very high amount of semen have less sperm than usual in the fluid ejaculated by them. This makes the liquid thinner.

However, a low sperm count does not make a person infertile. It is still possible for a person with hyperspermia to conceive.

People with hyperspermia who have higher than normal sperm in ejaculation usually have no problem with fertility.

How to diagnose Hyperspermia?

The methods below are used to diagnose hyperspermia:

  2. Oxytocin stimulants are used for that purpose. Oxytocin induces hyperspermia.
  3. Drinking too much water regularly weakens the sperm or dilutes the semen. Eventually causes hyperspermia.
  4. In addition, there are some vitamins and minerals that help in induced hyperspermia. Some of these vitamins and minerals are listed below.
  5. Zinc can increase the production of semen and also increase the girth size of the penis).
  6. Bioperine (a vitamin bottle) increases the surface area for absorption of various drugs.
  7. Solidin (also known as Mucuna, Prurians, Korean Red Ginseng and Griffonia Simpicifolia seeds).
  8. There are some herbs that help in the contraction of the prostate gland and eventually lead to hyperspermia. These herbs include
