Changes in diet or eating less can increase your problem. A diabetic patient should not remain without food for a long time. This can cause your sugar level to drop suddenly. In such a situation, if you are keeping a fast, then definitely pay attention to these things.
1- If you are a diabetic patient, then you should not fast without the advice of the doctor. You should talk to your doctor about whether you can fast or not and how to keep fast.
2- Avoid eating too much salt and sugar on the day of fasting. Keep in mind that do not eat packaged things made from the market. It contains a lot of salt and sugar. Eat only homemade fruits.
3- If you have both diabetes and blood pressure, then do not keep a fast without salt. This may make your problem worse.
4- You should eat a lot of fruits and vegetables on the day of fasting. You can also eat dryfruits. In this, you can roast Makhane, Almonds, Walnuts and eat them when you feel hungry in between.
5- People drink very little water on the day of fasting, but if you are a diabetic patient then drink plenty of water. Try to keep the body hydrated. Drink lemonade, coconut water or buttermilk.
6- Keep checking your sugar level on the day of fast. If it is happening more or less then try to balance it with diet.
