Bengaluru: Infosys The Foundation, an IT philanthropist and CSR branch, on Monday announced the launch of four mobile laboratories – also called ‘Labs Built on Wheels’ – to provide cost-effective diagnostic solutions. The Foundation has partnered with the Rotary Bangalore Southwest Charitable Trust (Rotary Trust) to build these laboratories at a cost of Rs. A MoU was signed with a grant of Rs 4 crore.
Together with the Rotary Trust, it handed over the mobile laboratories to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bomai.
The launch event was also attended by Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resource Development Group Infosys, Krish Shankar and other dignitaries from Government and Rotary Trust.
The Rotary Trust has partnered with Sycorp Health Technologies (SHTPL) to establish the lab in accordance with BSL Level 2 safety standards, the Infosys Foundation said in a statement.
