According to a report in The Indian Express, a physical exam, blood test or a sexually transmitted infection test is usually needed to find out the cause of first trimester bleeding. Progesterone and Rh factor (a protein present on the surface of red blood cells) can also be tested.

With these symptoms, it is understood that the liver is completely damaged.

Take bleeding seriously in the last trimester

Bleeding during the second and third trimester of pregnancy can also be a concern. Some causes of bleeding are harmless, while some can be dangerous. If you are having excessive bleeding in the last trimester then it is necessary to contact the doctor without any delay. Its treatment is decided on the basis of the duration of pregnancy and the health of the mother and child.
