Jacqueline Fernandez on seeking help for mental health during pandemic: I was going through loneliness

The COVID-19 pandemic greatly affected normal life. Not only did it lock us in our homes for months, but the deadly virus also affected our jobs and even our mental health. The situation was similar for commoners and celebrities. While mental health has become a top concern for many people during the COVID-19 pandemic, did you know that Jacqueline Fernandez has also sought help for her mental health?

He made the revelation during his recent interaction with Shilpa Shetty on a show. speaking of which, Jacqueline he said it happened in 2020 just after the pandemic hit the nation. “Many of us did not know what was happening to them. People were literally pulled out of so many things. People lost their jobs. The people lost their people. I realized that I was possibly going through a bit of loneliness. You know that there are so many people who live alone in the city and don’t have their families with them. So you essentially don’t end up having people to talk to and there are a lot of times, also in my personality, that I don’t like to bog people down with my issues or problems. Therefore, I do not want to mention things that may seem sad or depressing with friends or family. I don’t like them to know that I’m struggling or sad or lonely. So I reached out for help.”

Jacqueline She further stated that she is glad she decided to seek help and attended therapy for a while. “It’s amazing that people, even if they can’t do therapy, but have someone solid that they can talk to. Because I realized that in therapy most of the time I was talking, talking and that person was just listening and asking me questions that made me think about why I felt alone or why I felt that way. People think that therapy is useless because what are they going to tell you but in reality it is for your own self-reflection that sometimes you don’t have time to do. And it helped me a lot,” she added.
