Jaipur: A new website called ‘Raj Health portal’ (rajsalud.rajasthan.gov.in) was launched by the Chief Minister Ashok Guelot on Wednesday to maintain real-time data of doctors, nurses, paramedical personnel, officers and unregistered employees of the medical, health and family welfare department.
The state is estimated to have around 1.5 lakh employees working in health institutions and health department offices. Since it has always been a herculean task for authorities to maintain real-time data by collecting information from districts, the health department launched the raj cheers portal, officials said.
“The portal aims to provide a comprehensive solution to many HR issues along with accessibility, transparency, and real-time tracking. It is an integrated digital platform developed as an internal electronic Headquarters for the health department. Ultimately, it will lead to many paper processes going fully digital and reduce systemic redundancies. It will save unnecessary human effort and provide a productive and efficient system,” said Director (Public Health) Dr. Ravi Prakash Mathur.
The portal has been designed and developed by National Computer Centerfor which the department has approved Rs 5 crore over the next five years.
