Jennifer Garner is a very, very busy woman. She’s juggling her career, her family, an imaginary cooking show, and her company, Once Upon a Farm. But she also really likes performing at charities, because Jen is dedicated to giving back, and she certainly looks fabulous while she’s doing it.
The 50-year-old attended a Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles event over the weekend wearing a simple cream shorts outfit that she accessorized with miles of toned legs. oh and Jennifer ~also~ debuted with a new undercut haircut that totally completed the look.
Here’s a look at Jen’s red carpet appearance, in case you haven’t been paying attention:
Okay, but back to those strong legs… If you’re wondering how he sculpts so much, you’re not alone. jennifer definitely share small snippets here and there on Instagram, giving everyone a sneak peek at her intense workout routine. And I’ll be the first to say that there are definitely some leg burners in the mix.
Back in September, Jen included a video of herself jumping a whopping 33 inches in the air, but not before noting that it was a bit difficult to pull off. “33” is very tall. 🐸,” she wrote in the title. In the video, Jennifer stands next to a tower of cushion blocks, psyches herself up and leaps into the air, landing on her knees on the tower, before bursting out laughing. “That’s too tall!” she said. But, in the next clip, she totally jumped on top and landed on her feet as people cheered in the background. That requires some strength in her legs.
In June, she was back on those blocks doing a impressive series of jumps that will make you feel erased, just looking at it. Jen jumps from one block to the ground and then another like nothing. That’s followed by Jennifer doing donkey kicks on a springboard, before doing some kind of incredibly complicated jumping sequence with the springboard and another block. Basically… her legs are regularly worked out intensely, at the same time that she does things that get her heart rate up for a good cardio session.
Jennifer’s trainer, Beth Nicely, told her Form Earlier this year, his celebrity client “likes to work really hard” and is “a professional athlete in what she’s physically capable of.” They’re both experts at doing plyometric box jumps (ie, what you just witnessed), arm strength-training exercises, and plank variations.

Jennifer has also opened up about the fact that she trusts the celebrity nutrition guru. Kelly LeVeque for his best nutrition tips. LeVeque has to do with the fabulous fouraka included proteinfat, fiber and vegetables at each meal.
In the mornings, Jennifer’s favorite is LeVeque’s Be Well Smoothie, which includes collagen, flax and chia seeds, almond butter, almond milk, spinach and blueberries. Hmm!
Crushing it, Jen!
