Powell is an extremely independent person. She says The attitude who adopted this mindset after their divorce. “She contributed tremendously,” she said. “Because what’s happened now, and that’s 10 years later, is that I’m extremely independent. I feel much more confident about what I can accomplish and what I can do on my own. And that goes for the clothes I wear. . I’m a completely different person. I dress differently. I’ve taken control.”
As independent as he is, Powell is also not afraid to admit when he needs help. “Nope [ever] be afraid to ask for help,” he told The Attitude. “Never be afraid to say, ‘Look, should I be unsure about this?’ or ‘I could really use your help with this.’ And I think sometimes you have to take that into account to just say, ‘You know what: I have her, him, him, her… And I’m going to draw on that today because I need it.”
Powell is open about her love of yoga. She has posted photos on Instagram of herself in different poses. “She changed my life, honestly,” she told The Attitude. “I’ve done it right for the last year, I mean right. It’s accepting the fact that you can take an hour out of the day.”
In her interview with The Attitude, Powell emphasized the importance of going after what she wants and not second-guessing herself. “I believe deep down that you have to dig deep,” she says. “You just have to take a little bit of that energy from that fire in your belly and you have to go for it. There’s no such thing as ‘I’d love to’; just do it.”
Powell talked about his favorite foods for Your Healthy Life. She says that he cooks a lot for his family. He also says that he avoids using processed foods or things that just need to be heated. “I always make sure to cook our meals from scratch. I don’t use anything processed or prepared.”
