Jungl highlights 3 new studies showing that weight loss isn’t all about diet and exercise

CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — “All you have to do is eat less and move more.” Not only is this categorically wrong, it’s extremely frustrating to hear, especially from your doctor.

Unfortunately, your doctor is sharing very old concepts with you. it takes a estimated 17 years so that scientific research discoveries reach your doctor and change your medical advice. Talk show hosts and Internet searches often turn up incorrect or outdated information as well.

The problem is that even reliable sources, like medical journals, often spread the wrong information. the New England Journal of Medicine reported that “unscientifically unsupported false beliefs about obesity are pervasive” in our medical journals.

Ideally, you would find the answers for yourself by studying the 500,000 scientific papers published on the subject and about 100 new ones published every day. This, however, is a daunting task and not one that many will undertake. Dr Whit Roberts of Jungle offers an alternative.

“You can either go to the experts who have made the study their life to sort through the hundreds of thousands of pages of research or, more likely, to the doctors who follow those experts,” he said.

Roberts, one such doctor, tells us there are some fascinating facts you’ve probably never heard that can boost or sustain your weight loss efforts. Here are only three of them.

One: Chronobiology

By now, you’ve probably heard of intermittent fasting. What you haven’t heard of is chronobiology, or the study of how the rhythms of the sun, moon, and seasons affect the mental, physical, and emotional cycles of our bodies. that studio won the researchers the Nobel Prize for medicine in 2017.

Roberts explains that his research has led to a refined understanding of the most effective form of intermittent fasting, adding that it matters when you fast, not just how long you fast.

Apparently the old adage that breakfast is the most important meal of the day is true, even though a thousandAmerican lions are skipping it. Among the many things you’ll learn as a Jungl weight loss patient is why it’s important to eat breakfast. Roberts explains that the body treats calories consumed in the morning differently than calories consumed at night.

In the morning, your body prepares for immediate energy needs by converting your food into glycogen, a short-term energy storage molecule. To achieve this, your body burns those hated fat deposits. However, it is a completely different story at night. The body is preparing for a restful and restful night’s sleep. Calories consumed at dinner or in the evening are most often stored as fat, a long-term energy storage molecule.

“The bottom line (is that) skipping dinner is much more effective than skipping breakfast for weight loss,” Roberts said. “All things being equal, you will lose more weight fasting at night than in the morning.”

Two: bad bacteria

A second truth about weight loss straight from the scientific literature is that bad bacteria in the gut cause weight gain. One of Roberts’ patients learned this the hard way. Tory, a 43-year-old woman, went to Jungl after she suddenly began to gain weight. She gained 40 pounds in six months despite being on a diet.

She went to the doctor and they did hormone and thyroid tests. They were OK. He even hired a personal trainer. Nothing he did seemed to make a difference. She kept gaining weight.

A Jungle, Roberts performed a complete exam that included an evaluation of his medical history and tests. She learned that she had received two courses of antibiotics for a severe sinus infection prior to the weight gain. Those antibiotics had killed a good part of the good and bad bacteria on her. As the bacteria colonies grew back, the bad ones gained more ground as you consumed the sodas and sugary treats they preferentially fed on.

Tory underwent a mindfulness course at Jungl, lost 45 pounds, experienced a huge increase in energy, and saw a dramatic decrease in her lifelong anxiety. Now, Ella Tory is a huge supporter of Jungl and the therapies and healing modalities offered there.

Three: hidden fat

The third science-backed weight loss fact shared by Roberts surprises just about everyone who hears it: the chicken is more fattening that beef. Yes, you and I have been deceived. Eating just one chicken breast every 10 days has been shown to cause significant weight gain, as shown in more than one study. It’s no wonder so many are struggling with weight loss while forcing themselves to eat diet-approved chicken breast every day.

Jungle helps eliminate misinformation, industry-biased propaganda, and popular myths. This article addresses only a few of them. Roberts has developed his own weight loss protocols over his 25 years of practice incorporating evidence-based weight loss methods. If you’re struggling with stubborn weight, his scientific approach to identifying and correcting the underlying causes of your stubborn weight may be right for you.

Roberts is quick to explain that stubborn weight can be caused by a much larger variety of conditions that are beyond the scope of this article. These can include toxins, insomnia, infections, allergies, hormonal imbalances, candida, emotional problems, liver and gallbladder dysfunction and many more. He and his staff identify and address all of these potential underlying conditions with their weight loss protocols.

“Testing is the key to discovering if there are any potential underlying issues that are making your weight loss efforts so difficult,” he said.
