Another fun fact? Reeves apparently recruited a former MMA fighter, Eric Brown, to be his sensei and help him prepare for a role. “He had some movie fighting experience, but he had never practiced judo,” he explains. “In the beginning, he didn’t even know where to put his feet. So it took me a long time to learn the basics.” He became a true judo expert (through men’s diary).

Reeves worked with personal trainer Patrick Murphy to prepare for his role in “John Wick,” which required a lot of stunts, flips, fight scenes, stunt car driving and more, according to Don. When he talks about their training together, Murphy reveals, “It’s about being able to keep a positive rhythm with your joints and reduce pain as much as possible.” The weekly routine that Reeves performed helped him do all of these stunts to the best of his ability. He worked on muscular endurance training, corrective exercise, power training, balance training, and recovery techniques.

Why do we think Keanu Reeves is a really nice guy? Well, plain and simple, Andrew Kimmel, a television producer, recently called it a “class act.” The title was based on welcome replies Reeves gave to a young fan after a long flight. A summary of the conversation was tweeted and has since been retweeted more than 22,500 times. Apparently, the young man curiously threw “quick questions” at Reeves, who “happily” answered them all. To be precise, Kimmel’s tweet says: “Keanu Reeves was on my flight from London to New York today. A kid asked me for an autograph in my luggage and then started firing off a series of quick questions. Keanu happily answered each one…”

Reeves has some pretty impressive interests, which could explain why the star looks so much younger than her 57 years. Interesting fact number three? In this free time of his, Reeves apparently collects and designs motorcycles.. A prized motorcycle in the actor’s collection is a handsome Arch KRGT-1 “performance cruiser,” and it is said to be the special design chosen to launch ARCH Motorcycle, a motorcycle shop that Reeves co-founded with Gard Hollinger.

Still going strong, Reeves will host Disney+’s all-new four-part series highlighting Formula 1. The series will cover Ross Brawn’s time as Honda team principal. (Brawn is currently the managing director of F1.)

Reeves is excited about this venture, revealing during the British Grand Prix: “A friend of mine was telling me the story and I was really impressed and he actually worked for Brawn in the past in advertising and is a producer/director. And so we thought, “Well let’s tell that story, let’s try to tell that story. It’s been really cool to be able to learn more about what was going on in Formula One that year. It wasn’t just about the cars, the new regulations, FOTA [the Formula One Teams Association] breakaway series. I mean there was so much going on in Formula One at the time” (via men’s health).

Another project Reeves has in the works is the role of Daniel H. Burnham, architect of the 1893 World’s Fair, in a new limited series on Hulu. “The Devil in the White City” is a non-fiction thriller produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese.
