Launch of ENLACE: Data Portal on NCDs, Mental Health and External Causes – PAHO/WHO

The Department of Noncommunicable Diseases and Mental Health (NMH) invites you to participate in the launch event of “ENLACE, the PAHO Data Portal on Noncommunicable Diseases, Mental Health, and External Causes” about Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (EST).

Recognizing the value and relevance of data in accelerating efforts to achieve regional and national commitments, as well as the organization’s mandates and action plans, the NMH Department has been applying innovative approaches to improve access to data and information. reliable, and their use to support decision-making and guide technical cooperation activities. In this context, the NMH Department developed the PAHO Data Portal on Noncommunicable Diseases, Mental Health, and External Causes (ENLACE).

This virtual event will present ENLACE and show some of the relevant topics, including its visualizations and interactive tools. This event will serve as an opportunity to share new content and tools to support regional and national efforts to reduce the impact of non-communicable diseases, mental health conditions, and violence and injuries on the population of the Americas.

The session will be available in English and Spanish with simultaneous translation.
