After addressing fans at an independent wrestling event on Saturday, Malakai Black took to social media on Sunday to post a detailed statement regarding his request for release from AEW. With all the turmoil going on in the pro wrestling landscape, I took the time to think about my words, but I also had to wait until the talks between my camp and the AEW camp had come to a conclusion.”
