A man in his 40s was booked by Nagapattinam City Police for allegedly trespassing at the premises of the Naval Detachment, Nagapattinam, early Sunday morning.
After lengthy questioning by local police, investigators suspected that the person, identified as Abishek Shukla from Uttar Pradesh, was suffering from mental illness. Q-Branch police sources said the suspect will most likely be admitted to a mental treatment facility, after the formal filing of the First Information Report.
