Martine McCutcheon has been receiving messages of support from his followers while he bravely opened up about his mental health battles.

The actress shared two photos, one that had been taken on Monday and the other on Tuesday. In the first photo, she looked a bit depressed as she sat inside of it in a beanie hat and padded jacket, while in the second she was beaming as she walked her dog. Speaking of her own personal battles with her mental health, she then opened up.

“For those who struggle with any type of mental health issue and still put on makeup, or get up and fight for another day, or try new ways of living, loving and they usually make their way through this thing called life – I salute you”, wrote the star.

“Sometimes it’s far from easy. I’ve always been pretty open about my health issues, both mental and physical, but there’s so much more to me too. – So it’s something I’ve touched on instead of focusing on. I didn’t want any kind of victim label as I actually feel the opposite.”

Martine said that she preferred sees herself as “brave” but admitted she “has had a bit of a struggle recently”.

She then praised the “special people” around her, saying that while at other times in her life she felt able to “bounce back”, recently it had been “a little harder”.

The star opened up about her mental health.

In a defiant ending to her post, she wrote: “Of course there is always a danger with honesty in a post like this, that the brands you work with won’t find it an attractive package, or the press and people in general. they’ll give you a lazy/unfair label or you’ll be put off by a part of you that isn’t as bright, bubbly, and marketable.

But the truth is that we are much more than other people’s definitions of us.. The wonderful thing about being older (but better) is that I don’t care if people like this part of me less.

She had an inspiring message for fans.

The mother of one immediately received support from her followers, one of whom said, “I love you for being honest and always sending you a big hug xx.”
