Dimapur, October 22 (EMN): The Regional Ayurveda Research Center (RARC), Dimapur, commemorated the 7the Ayurveda Day organizing awareness program and free medical camp at Ram Janaki Vidya High School in Dimapur on 22nd October.

The program was organized by RARC under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

During the program, Dr. Deepak Rahangdale spoke about Ayurveda for mental health, in which he emphasized the burden of mental disorders, the importance of mental health, types of mental health, and the benefits of yoga.

Dr. Neethu S Mohan also shared with the students about adverse drug reactions through food and medication and educated them on various health related benefits.

During the Ayurveda Day celebrations, which falls from September 12 to October 23, several events were held on the themes of Ayurveda for Holistic Health, Ayurveda for Millennials, Ayurveda Aahar, Ayurveda for the Elderly, and Ayurveda for Well-Being. with the aim of promoting scientificity. of Ayurveda with a whole government approach by creating Jan Sandesh, Jan Bhagidari, Jan Aandolan for Jan Arogya of people.
