Mental health warrant issued for wanted man from Coquitlam

RCMP is asking for help finding Bobby Ghuman, who may be behaving in a way that could be a risk to himself and others.

A 42-year-old man wanted outside of Coquitlam has not been seen in 10 days.

The RCMP has since issued an arrest warrant for Bobby Ghuman under the BC Mental Health Law.

While police hope the public can help find him, S/Sgt. Paul Vadik, in a press release, says that Ghuman may behave in a way that could pose a risk to himself and others.

He was last seen around 2 pm on June 24 and was reported missing the same day.

Vadik adds that the police are “obliged to detain him” and take him back to a designated facility as there are concerns for his well-being.

The public asked to call 911 immediately and not to approach Ghuman, if they see him.

He is described as:

  • 5’11”
  • 220 pounds
  • Black hair cropped on the sides.
  • Last seen wearing…

    • camouflage print jacket
    • Orange shirt
    • White shoes
    • Pants

Anyone with more information about Ghuman or his whereabouts is urged to call the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2022-15902.
