Varanasi: BHU Vice Chancellor Pro. Sudhir Jain There is a greater need to integrate technology into Ayurveda Do research to take it to a wider audience and make it more commercially viable. Pro. Jain He was addressing the inaugural function of a three-day seminar and workshop on Gilloy Mission organized by the Ayurveda Faculty, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU in collaboration with the National Medicinal Plants Board on Friday. The program will also train farmers and various stakeholders.

Pro. Jain said that if the UP government and Benaras Hindu University work together for the promotion of Ayurveda, it will bring significant results. He said that BHU has a special place when it comes to medical education as it provides education and treatment in traditional as well as modern medicine systems. “What BHU researchers in modern medicine and Ayurveda can publish is unmatched anywhere else, as they do not have the advantage of having both branches of medicine in the same place as we do in BHU,” he said.

Chief Secretary of State Durga Shankar Mishra He said, “We have all seen how Ayurveda proved its worth during the Kovid epidemic. Now, the world is embracing the ancient Indian medical system. We just took the time to accept our strengths. But now we must ensure that Ayurveda develops and becomes popular and reaches every household. ”
