NHA approves DRiefcase to store personal healthcare records through Whatsapp – ET HealthWorld


Mumbai: India National Health Authority Under its main scheme Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) Has announced Dripcase, A mobile application for personal health records, integration with WhatsApp to further enhance the user experience. DRiefcase users will now be able to take their commitment a step further by uploading directly to WhatsApp and storing personal medical records in their account.

ABDM is a digital framework that will connect patients, doctors and other healthcare stakeholders across the country to facilitate safe and secure movement of health information.

Sohit KapoorThe founder, DRiefcase, said, “We have always believed that no software platform can expect patients or doctors to adapt their user journeys. With that in mind, we’ve now been able to use WhatsApp as a way to upload medical records to our Health Locker. ”

He further added that this integration will now ensure safe and efficient flow of information and therefore bridge the existing information gap between patients and caregivers and by them other stakeholders in the ecosystem such as pharma companies, insurance companies and governments. Through everyday application like WhatsApp.
