UHI is an open network designed to enable interoperable digital health service delivery. The UHI will be governed by a protocol developed by the open community of developers and deployed at the gateway created by the NHA. In addition, it was adopted in a press release Decentralized health protocol The main protocol of UHI was announced as DHP and developers were invited to join DHP and contribute to UHI. Meanwhile, the NHA’s internal team is also working on it.

Any technology provider currently developing digital health solutions for hospitals, doctors, labs or clients can create innovative solutions using DHP and become part of the UHI network.
The NHA reiterates its earlier invitation and invites everyone, especially those working in the digital health space, to join the DHP Open Community organized on the GitHub platform. https://github.com/dhp-project To further refine existing protocols and create new protocols for use cases that are not currently part of DHP. The DHP community is open to all and has the opportunity to enrich and contribute to the further development of the Open Protocol, which powers the digital health revolution in India.
