NHA launches ABDM public dashboard for near real-time information on scheme – ET HealthWorld


New Delhi: National Health Authority (NHAUnder its master plan Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) has launched a public dashboard for almost real-time information on the scheme. Displays detailed information on the main registry under ABDM Public Dashboard Mission – Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), Healthcare Professionals Registry (HPR) and Health Facility Registry (HFR).

According to the dashboard, as of May 30, 2022, the total number of ABHAs (formerly known as Health IDs) is 221 million, more than 16.6 thousand healthcare professionals have registered in HPR, more than 69.4 thousand health facilities have been registered. HFR, more than 1.8 lakh health records have already been linked by users and the recently updated ABHA app has been downloaded more than 5.1 lakh.

All stakeholders can easily access the ABDM Public Dashboard from the ABDM website or directly from: https://dashboard.abdm.gov.in/abdm/ . Dashboard retrieves data related to the number of ABHA generated, number of registered healthcare professionals like doctors, nurses etc., digital health records linked to ABHA. The dashboard contains the number of health facilities registered on a daily basis such as hospitals, laboratories etc. as well as the accumulated details so far. In addition, ABHA Generation’s partner-wise data and linked digital health records are made available in real time on the dashboard. This data is divided into several main components that give an update on the progress of the plan in specific areas.

Explaining the idea behind the Public Dashboard, Dr. RS Sharma, CEO, NHA, said, “ABDM is built on the principles of accessibility, transparency, inclusion and inter-operability. ABDM Public Dashboard puts updated information regarding the scheme in the public domain to ensure that all stakeholders have access to the data in a transparent manner. This ABDM ecosystem also gives a clear picture of the progress made by the partners as we have included data related to the number of ABHAs created by the various partners as well as the number of health records attached as per the platform.

The ABDM Public Dashboard provides a transparent view of the number of ABHAs generated at the national as well as state / UT level. Numbers are further divided by gender and age. The ABHA number generation feature is also available through many popular digital health applications CoWIN, PMJAY, Health bridgeGovernment of Andhra Pradesh, e-Sushruta Railway Hospital, etc. The ABDM Dashboard also displays the performance of each partner and the number of health records linked by each partnership application.

For health facility registry, dashboard represents infographics in proprietary (government or private), medicine systems (modern medicine – allopathy, ayurveda, sova-rigpa, physiotherapy, unani, dentistry, siddha, homeopathy etc.) and state-based infographics. -Additional features registered under ABDM. Similarly, for HPR, the dashboard shows the segmentation of data based on their type of employment – government or private sector, drug systems and the states / UTs from which applications are received.
