Lagos: A Nigerian start-up called winsite Using technology visually impairedWith many products including “smart”. reading glasses which converts text to audio.

About 15.3% of the world’s blind population lives in Africa World Health Organizationwhere they often lack the resources and support they need to succeed in school and in everyday life.

“I just wanted to try and see if we could create something that could solve the problem and that’s where it started,” said WinSight CEO Kolawole Tommy.

The company distributes its products to schools and institutions and is estimated to have reached around 5,000 people.
