Pregnant, differently-abled, elderly and needy will be given priority among waiting patients.
According to AIIMS Director Dr. M. Srinivas, this decision has been taken with the aim of controlling the crowd in the OPD and improving the treatment system. According to which online appointment will be given according to the slot in the OPD of Rajkumari Amrit Kaur OPD and Surgical Block. According to the time available on the appointment slip, patients will be able to show up in the OPD. Apart from this, slots will also be provided to patients who reach OPD for treatment without online appointment. Such patients will have to wait in the waiting area until the time comes. Various facilities have been arranged for the patients in the waiting area. Apart from this, patients will also get information about their number here.
According to media reports, the work of giving online appointment for treatment in AIIMS is starting today. At the same time, from November 1, on the appointment received according to the slot, the facility of treatment of patients in OPD will start. For registration in the OPD of AIIMS, there is a line from morning itself. To reduce which this decision has been taken.
Thousands of people will get benefit
Patients getting treatment in AIIMS will no longer have to pay any fee up to Rs 300. At the same time, the fee of Rs 10 charged for making slip has also been abolished. After which thousands of patients coming to AIIMS will now get the benefit. Apart from this, now all the tests up to Rs 300 will also be free. After an order, blood tests, X-rays, ultrasound etc. to be conducted in AIIMS became free of cost.

Patients who come for treatment in AIIMS (AIIMS) will be given a band. Those whose number will not come, they will be provided an appointment through the kiosk.
