Men are invited to a “reset day” at a stately home to improve their mental health.
Highlights at the event at Delapre Abbey in Northampton include ice baths and breathing sessions.
Organizers hope men will speak openly about their mental health in a supportive environment.
Delapre trustee Dr David Smart said the July 6 event was intended to “create a safe space for men to support each other”.
The figures showed Men were less likely to access psychological therapies than women, but men were three times more likely to take their own lives.
Dr. David Smart, who chaired the Action for happiness Northants Hub said: “Men’s mental health is often overlooked due to societal pressures and stigma.
“This event aims to create a safe space for men to talk, share and support each other.”
The event will take place in the walled garden of Delapre Abbey, once the pride of the Bouverie and Tate families who lived in Delapre.
Two military veterans, Pete Spink and Matthew Bushell, will join Dr. Smart to discuss their mental health challenges that required medical and psychological treatment.
Delapre Abbey hoped to create a wellness center in the site’s stables to provide ongoing support and resources.
Dr Smart is raising money for the centre and Action for Happiness by taking part in a 1,460-mile (2350km) cycling challenge – 1460 was chosen because it was the year of the Battle of Northampton.
