Find a diet plan that works best for you can be difficult. With so many “quick fix” and “rapid weight loss” programs, for those looking to lose weight in a safe and sustainable way, Pippa Campbell’s Health offers a tailored service, designed and adapted to you and your body. Pippa Campbell, nutritionist and metabolic balance coach, spoke exclusively with Express.es about his business and how it produces “really good results” for those who have embarked on a weightloss travel with her.
Pippa shared her top tips for anyone looking to lose weight. She suggested two things; three nutritionally balanced meals a day and no snacks.
“So we are working on sustainability, always,” he said. “I want people to avoid any of these quick fixes because they don’t last, people can’t stick with them. And people will find that they can lose weight quickly, but because they can’t keep it off or because it’s too restrictive. Then they could go back to a kind of binge.
“I know it’s trendy and I know fasting has a lot of benefits, I just tell people to eat their three meals right. If the food they’re eating within that fasting window is wrong or they’re bingeing, then that’s not good.
“So it goes back to basics; three meals a day with enough protein and no snacks.
“Honestly, if people did that, three meals a day, no snacks, that would really help and then what they need to think about is making sure they’re eating whole foods that aren’t processed if they’re just eating real food in that those meals, think about what your grandmother ate, only eat real food.

“I call fast food an omelette. Most people can make an omelette, scrambled eggs, or something like that.
“Just eat real food, three meals a day with enough protein, no snacking.”
Pippa continued: “Most of the people who come to see us are not, they eat biscuits in the afternoon or they are starving.
“They are fasting because it is fashionable, they start eating at 12 and they are very hungry. But then they literally have everything in sight.
“So I think just getting those three meals right would be very, very good for weight loss.”
Speaking about Pippa Campbell Health and how it can help someone, Pippa said, “We have several plans. As a new customer that several ways [to book in with us].

“So people can book and maybe they don’t know what they want, or they just want a one-on-one interview and then be guided where to go next. And that would be a new client consultation with one of our professionals.
“Then specifically for weight loss, we have two weight loss programs.
“So we have a three month program, which is all singing, all dancing, one of the most personalized weight loss programs, [as] It is based on blood tests and also DNA tests.
“We combined a German blood program with DNA testing for a truly personalized meal plan. So no meal plan would be the same.
“Someone may have zucchini, carrots and various other things and the other person may not.
“You go through different phases of this program, so it’s long-term and sustainable.”
As to whether a bespoke program produces better results, Pippa commented: “It has very good results, I think one because it’s so bespoke.
“But also because it’s three months too. We have this person for three months, and he can check in at any time: he has consultations set up, but he can contact us every day if he wants to.
“Some people like to get a lot of support. And we know that support and accountability work very well.
“So there’s someone to walk you through because it’s three months, you literally know how to eat by the end of it.
“Then you don’t need anyone to hold your hand, you just know what works. And I think people then know they wouldn’t go on a fad diet after that because they know ‘I already have what’s best for me.’”
Three months can be seen as a fairly short time to lose weight, but not as short as a strict diet or rapid weight loss program, Pippa spoke about this: “So I had a client who just followed [after three months]he lost seven stones in a year and a half.
“And after three months, it absolutely can continue, so a lot of clients will continue to book, maybe once a month for a half-hour consultation because it doesn’t end after three months.
“The program is coming to an end in terms of standing inquiries with us, but they may not have reached their goal at the end of the three months.
“Some people might, but some people might not. So therefore, if they’re still trying to lose weight, they’ll walk you through that and then they could keep checking back.
“Some of them are so confident that they can go ahead and keep losing weight.
“And we’ve had that, but other people still like that responsibility so they can sign up for a half-hour consultation, say, once a month.”
