World Breastfeeding Week: The first week of August is celebrated every year as World Breastfeeding Week. The purpose of this week, celebrated all over the world, is to make people especially women aware of breastfeeding. This is a world class annual campaign. This World Week of Breastfeeding was founded by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action. This organization works to support, empower and encourage individuals on their breastfeeding journey. At the same time, if this organization is to be believed, only about 40 percent of the total babies in the world get the necessary breastfeeding for 6 months, the remaining 60 percent of the babies are not deprived of it.
