LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Today, April 26, the grand opening of a new mental health facility took place.
Stephen’s Ministry is located at 369 West Church Street in Lexington.
It was founded after the death of Stephen Hensley by his parents.
In honor of Stephen’s life, the ministry provides help to the community with mental health, recovery support, grief counseling, and more.
“We came out with a public service announcement for youth suicide prevention. We actually filmed it this week, so it will be out in the next few weeks,” said Patrick Lenney, CEO of Stephens Ministry Inc.
The dedication featured three speakers, including Henderson County Mayor Robbie McCready, and ended with a blessing and tour of the facility.
Stephen’s Ministry will be available to the public starting May 1.
