Videra Health has announced a partnership with Signature Healthcare Services to improve the post-discharge follow-up experience through the use of AI-assisted video assessments for individuals with behavioral health concerns.

According to a statement issued by Videra, the collaboration will combine video and voice technology with a full spectrum of care across Signature’s 19 acute care facilities to deliver interventional care.

Videra’s technology uses video and voice analytics to predict when a patient is in distress and may need support or intervention. This technology allows Signature to automatically check in with at-risk patients at regular intervals and drive compliance with required post-discharge follow-up milestones for each patient, according to the statement.

The intended result, Videra said, is not only for more patients who otherwise would not have been identified for help, but also to create automated touch points that allow Signature to keep patients connected to the same facility and providers. who originally provided your vital care. treatment.

The two companies have already begun rolling out the automated post-discharge video programs at one of Signature’s flagship facilities, Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, according to the statement.
