Paytm launches ABHA Health Locker – ET HealthWorld


One97 Communications Limited (OCL) which owns the Paytm brand, India’s leading payments and financial services company and pioneer of QR and mobile payments, today announced the launch of Paytm ABHA Health Locker Users can store their health documents. with Paytm Health LockerUsers can directly share all medical documents at healthcare facilities.

to be a part of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, Paytm is a certified public health record application. The Paytm ABHA Health Locker can be accessed after creating an Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) on the Paytm app. ABHA is a unique health number provided to every citizen to access healthcare services and personal medical records. Once the ABHA is created a QR code is generated and can be scanned in hospitals and clinics in times of emergency to instantly share the user’s medical history. Additionally, Paytm ABHA Health Locker also enables users to book appointments at certain hospitals using QR codes that help them skip long queues.

With Paytm ABHA Health Locker, user can upload documents like health insurance policies, diagnostic reports, prescriptions, medicine bills, COVID vaccine certificates, PMJAY cards. Approved by National Health AuthorityThe data on Paytm Health Locker is built with strong security and encryption mechanisms to ensure the privacy of all its users.

A Paytm spokesperson said, “We are a certified Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Public Health Record App. Just as we have stopped carrying cash, it is time to stop carrying medical records as well. Digital Health Locker, especially in case of emergency. Our objective is to ensure that digital health services reach maximum number of people, strengthening healthcare services.”
