Philanthropic support of mental health

San Agustin

On behalf of Rosalie James Circle and Chapter President Cece Reigle, Kathy Marquis was honored to present SMA Behavioral Health Care with a financial contribution in support of their important work in the field of mental health.

The St. Augustine chapter of the Rosalie James Circle of the International Order of the King’s Sons and Daughters is once again reaching out to the needs of our community.

They are presenting SMA, as well as several other local organizations, with donations to support those in need in St. Augustine.

With the increased mental health crisis we are facing with COVID, and now the added stress following Ian, supporting SMA’s efforts is critical to our community.

Some of its stated goals:

  • Mental health and substance abuse therapy
  • Management of psychiatric medications
  • Zero Suicide Care Coordination
  • Florida Assertive Community Treatment
  • Advisory services

We are so blessed to have the folks at SMA Mental Health who are willing to take on this daunting task.

They are a credit to our community and we know they will use the funds where they are needed most.
