Pippa Middleton’s ‘weekly’ exercises are the secret to slim body ‘Noticed big difference’

pippa middleton has previously discussed how to boost your health by incorporating walking into your daily routine, as well as the benefits of high-intensity interval training for anyone looking to burn fat. In week seven of her fitness plan, the British socialite discusses the importance of flexibility and how a few daily stretches can help “overall health.”

She said: “Low-intensity stretching and flexibility exercises are a crucial part of any exercise routine, along with strength, balance and endurance work.

“Mix and match these items into your weekly regimen for overall health.”

As for why flexibility is important, Pippa explained: “Flexibility helps boost muscle recovery, aligns the body, relieves pain and relaxes your whole being by giving you a greater range of motion.

“Make time for yoga or Pilates – controlled positions and static poses combined with deep breathing help increase blood flow (and therefore oxygen) to the brain; this clears your mind and relaxes you.

Plank to Dolphin – Works your upper body and core.

1. Start in a plank position with your weight on your forearms.

2. Press hips and shoulders back toward feet, lifting lower body into the air and upper arms extended.

3. Pause and return to plank position.

4. Repeat 10-15 times.

1. Start in a push-up position with your hands wider than shoulder-width apart and drive your hips toward the ceiling.

2. Lower your head to the ground. When you almost touch the ground, squeeze your shoulder muscles to push yourself back to the start.

3. Repeat 12-15 times.

It comes after Pippa talked about what Pilates has done for her: mind and body.

She said: “As someone who is always ‘on the go’, Pilates has been a wonderful escape from my busy London lifestyle.

“Whether it’s 7am in the morning or 7pm at night, I always walk out feeling calm, refreshed and invigorated.

“Over the last few months, I have noticed a huge difference in my core strength and posture.

“From breathing techniques, muscle toning to flexibility and general relaxation, my Pilates sessions have become a weekly necessity that keeps me fit, happy and energized,” she wrote on the website of the Pilates studio she attends.
