Promoting mental health and well-being in children

The KLE Society organized a continuing medical education program on “Promoting Mental Health and Well-being in Children and Adolescents” in Belagavi on Tuesday.

The commander of the Karnataka State Reserve Police Battalion in Belagavi, Hamza Hussain, inaugurated the CME at the KLE Society’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Belagavi on Tuesday.

The second international CME was held in hybrid mode, with some members attending offline while other attendees listened to it online.

CME Organizing President M. Yasmin delivered the opening remarks. Registrar, KAHER, VA Kothiwale welcomed the meeting. Vice Chancellor, KAHER, Vivek Saoji chaired the function.

The directors of the constituent universities, KAHER officials, professors, students and parents were present.

Certificates were awarded to the winners of the poster presentation contest.

CME Organizing Secretary Carol D’Souza, Joint Organizing Secretary Rozisahar Jamadar and others spoke.

The KAHER Counseling Cell and the Department of Psychology organized the event.
