When he talks about what he cooked for dinner earlier in the week, he says, “I used a prescription by Julia Moskin, and I made soup with matzah balls by Joan Nathan prescription. I love those two writers; I love your whole story. They are people I go to all the time for recipes. I have my Fannie Farmer’s Cookbook, which I have since I was 18 years old. She sticks to a cup of coffee
